I accidentally registered as the wrong type of participant, how do I change this?
Email elonthon@gmail.com with the subject "Change Participant Type," then tell us the name you are registered under and what participant type you would like to be changed to.
I am no longer able to attend Elonthon, how do I switch to a spirit fundraiser?
Email elonthon@gmail.com with the subject "Change Participant Type," then tell us the name you are registered under and that you can no longer attend the event but would like to continue fundraising as a Spirit Fundraiser!
I am unhappy with the shift I have been placed in, how do I change it?
When you register for Elonthon, you are not guaranteed a certain shift. We do our best to accommodate everyone’s needs, but we need to ensure that we have participants in each shift so our Miracle Children feel supported and motivated throughout the full 13.1 hours! If you need to switch your shift for a valid reason, please contact elonthon@gmail.com with a valid explanation.
How do I customize my Donor Drive page?
Navigate to your profile. From here you can see all of the events you are a part of or have been a part of. Here you can click Edit Your Page. Customizing your profile helps your donors know who you are, why you are participating in Dance Marathon, and makes you more likely to receive a gift to your fundraising page. You can also connect your social channels and update your fundraising goal here.
I never received emails about Elonthon updates, donations, shift placements, etc. How do I receive these?
Check to see which email you registered for Elonthon under. Often times, students will register with alternate emails or the email has been typed in incorrectly. For that reason, we encourage to to register for Elonthon with your elon.edu email account or your primary account.
I don’t remember the email I used to register for Elonthon, how can I retrieve it?
Email elonthon@gmail.com if you are having log-in issues and we can verify your username.
Someone made a donation to my page, but I do not see it. Where did that donation go?
If you are registered as a member of a team, sometimes donors will make a donation on the team home page that will go towards the overall team’s total. A donor may have also made the donation to the event page as a whole, rather than to your personal page. This is why you will not see it appear on your personal page.
If you have further questions you may contact our VP of Finance, Julia Vide, at jvide@elon.edu.
I'm having trouble meeting my minimum, what do I do?
Please see our Fundraising Tips & Tricks page. For further assistance, please contact our Director of Fundraising, Landis Thompson, at lthompson28@elon.edu.
